Building Construction Engineer · Ravenna, Italy

Wael BenMohamed

Issued for review · WBM · 2026

Civil engineering, project delivery, and digital systems — built into one way of working.

Construction is being rebuilt around BIM, data, and software. I'm trained to lead in both rooms — the one with the load path, and the one with the dashboard that tracks it.

Sheet A-101 · Profile

Engineering judgement, with the range of a software builder.

I'm a Building Construction Engineering student at the University of Bologna with a computer-science foundation and live project experience across BIM-based design, structural detailing, urban analysis, real-estate appraisal, construction economics, web development, IoT, and team leadership. The point of the work is simple: build better places, faster — with the rigour of an engineer and the speed of a software builder. I'm seeking internships and early-career roles where that combination matters.

How I work

Protocol 01

Engineer the system.

Constraints first. Model the structure honestly, then translate decisions into buildable, defendable outputs — drawings, calculations, schedules.

Protocol 02

Coordinate the delivery.

Cadence, ownership, and clear deliverables. Meetings end with decisions; weeks end with progress; nothing slips quietly.

Protocol 03

Digitise the workflow.

BIM, GIS, IoT, and software brought into construction so the team spends time on judgment, not on chasing files.

Sheet S-201 · Capabilities

One stack, two industries: construction and software, learned in parallel.

A working schedule of disciplines, tools, and systems. Each row below is a skill I’ve already used on a project, a paid brief, or a structured course — not a wishlist.

Sheet C-601 · Leadership

You can’t fake the discipline of leading people.

Five people I led at AIESEC Bologna with a weekly cadence and a real lead-conversion target. Learners aged 6 to 30 I taught in Konya. International visitors I guided through Ravenna in their own language. Passengers I helped under pressure at Coopservice. Same operating rhythm everywhere: anticipate, organise, communicate, deliver — and follow up.

CREED 01

Lead the meeting, not the room.

Structured agendas, clear ownership, weekly cadence — leadership is logistics done with care.

CREED 02

Serve before you ship.

From baggage halls to classrooms in Konya, the same discipline: anticipate, then deliver.

CREED 03

Measure the conversion.

Outreach is engineering — track the funnel, fix the bottleneck, repeat the loop.

Sheet X-701 · Archive

Three projects that show how I work.

BIM-driven villa design, structural documentation, and a GIS-based urban analysis of Ravenna’s Darsena district. Each one shipped, each one defendable in front of a client. The full archive holds the rest.

Sheet F-801 · FAQ

Questions teams ask before reaching out.

Six straight answers to the questions that come up most. If yours isn’t here, the contact sheet is one scroll away.

Because I've already done the work that most students haven't. A real-estate appraisal, a DCF feasibility, a freelance practice running since 2024, an e-commerce dashboard, BIM design and structural detailing for two villas, an urban regeneration study, AIESEC team leadership for five people. Junior pricing, senior-level output discipline.
